Yes indeed. 'Twas marvelous, every moment of it. I found it highly optimistic that a little town in the middle of Colorado can pack a theater to hear a poet read poems. I mean, anyone can hold a reading in NYC, but the Loveland audience was so smart, so witty, so supportive, I came away feeling rather hopeful about the future of civilization (I suppose that's a lot to hang on poetry as a genre).
I think a poem is germinating on the impression the evening made...stay tuned.
